Officially incorporated in 1968 as the Young Men’s Christian Association of Greene County, TN.
The Y is a Not-For-Profit (501-C3) organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Y has been at its current location since 1980. Capital Campaigns – 1980 (facility), 1992 (renovations) and 2007 (expansion and renovation). Approximately 16,000 people from Greene County are served by the YMCA each year and over 200 volunteers assist the Y staff in a given year.
