Childwatch & Youthwatch

More than ever, busy parents need support. When parents come to the Y for a class, group activity or workout, their kids need a safe, enriching environment where they can build healthy, trusting relationships with other kids and adults. At Childwatch, children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old play under the supervision of caring, trained Y staff. At the same time, their parents are able to relax, connect with other Y members and enjoy healthy activities at the Y.

Children must have a youth membership or be included in a family membership. Parents may leave their children for a maximum of two hours per day and must be in the Greene County YMCA facility while their children are in Childwatch.

Childwatch is open on the following days/times:

  • Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
  • Monday–Thursday 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

Youthwatch at the Y is an exciting place for youth ages 6-8 to have fun with other youth their age while parents work out. We offer various opportunities for children including ping-pong, a pool table, rock climbing wall and tumbling mats.

Youthwatch is open on the following days/times:

  • Monday–Thursday: 4:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m.
  • *Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.

*Only when schools are NOT SCHEDULED to be in session
